Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Wet Batter Ingredients

  • 3 sticks of vegan butter or 1.5 cups 
  • 3/4 cup sugar cane 
  • 3/4 brown sugar 
  • 3 vegan flax seed eggs (1 TB of water and 1.5 TB of water for each flax egg) 
  • 1.5 tsp pure vanilla extract 

Dry Batter Ingredients

  • 1.5 tsp baking soda 
  • 1 tsp salt (you can use 1.5 tsp but I don’t like to use a lot of salt)  
  • 3 cups flour 
  • 1 package of dark chocolate chips 
  • 1/4 cup of Ghirardelli 100% Cocoa or less


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Make your three flax eggs in a separate bowl. Stir 3 TB flax seed and 4.5 TB of water. 
  3. Add Vanilla on top and let set for two minutes. 
  4. In a large bowl cream together Vegan Butter, Sugars, and Vanilla Flax seed egg. 
  5. In another large bowl, mix Flour, Salt, Baking Soda, and Ghirardelli 100% Cocoa. 
  6. Fold in flour mixture into the wet batter in parts and mix well. Batter should be moist but not runny or tacky.
  7. Add entire bag of chocolate chips and fold into batter. 
  8. Grease cookie sheet and place teaspoon scoops onto the cookie sheet. 
  9. Bake for approximately 15 minutes. 
  10. Place on a wire rack to let cool. 
  11. Place cookies in a cookie jar or Tupperware once cooled with a slice or two of bread. This helps keep them soft for days.
